Myles Love
Our Member of the Month this month is Myles Love.
"Myles is a true warrior even after everything he has been though he always has a smile on his face."
Myles was diagnosed with high-risk stage 4 neuroblastoma last December and has been bravely fighting for over a year. During this time, he has spent approximately 95% of his days in the hospital. Despite the challenges, Myles has shown incredible resilience. He has undergone four central line placements after developing sepsis in three of them.
The cancer and its aggressive treatment have taken a toll on his young body. Myles has a developmental delay, but he has learned to sign "marathon," a testament to his determination. He can no longer walk, and his left kidney has ceased functioning. He also has damage to his lungs, a non-functioning spleen, and struggles with Autonomic Nerve Dysfunction. Yet, through it all, Myles remains a beacon of positivity.
His infectious smile shines through even the darkest moments, inspiring everyone around him. Despite immense adversity, he faces each day with courage and a fighting spirit that is nothing short of heroic. Myles truly embodies the strength and resilience of a superhero, proving that even in the toughest battles, hope and happiness can prevail.
