Archie’s journey began with what initially seemed like a simple pain, but it quickly became something no family ever expects...a diagnosis of a rare bone cancer. From that moment, life changed overnight.

He began chemotherapy straight away, and his family held onto a great deal of hope. However, as time went on, they were given the devastating news that the treatment was not working as it should.

As a result, the family was faced with one of the most difficult decisions imaginable, amputation, in order to give Archie the best possible chance. It was a life-changing moment, but one that Archie faced with remarkable bravery.

Just as they were beginning to adjust and find a new sense of normality, Archie underwent further chemotherapy following his operation. This was not only to target any remaining cancer cells, but also to treat cancer that had developed in his lung.

Through every appointment, setback, and challenge, Archie has continued to show strength far beyond his years. He still finds reasons to smile, to laugh, and to keep going; and that is what makes him truly extraordinary.

His family could not be more proud of him and everything he has overcome so far.
