Survivor Bead
The survivor bead symbolises a lot of different milestones throughout your own treatment journey.
Whether you have completed your first round of radiation or another specific course of treatment, made it through your first night in hospital, finished treatment, or been given your 5 year all clear, the survivor bead recognises any struggle that you have endured and overcome.
The survivor bead is made up of 3 symbols;
- A heart – this is to remind you of the love and compassion shown to you throughout your treatment and in the years to come
- A spiral – this is to honour continuation of life
- An anchor – this is to symbolise hope for the future
